Hi there and welcome to Follow Jesus Radio. I'm glad you are here and hope you will find something useful.

I'm a 74 year old radio broadcaster who found great peace in his old age in the forgiveness that Jesus Christ offers to sinners. I enjoy reading my Bible and doing radio podcasts about things I have read. I also program 96.2 Follow Jesus Radio. The goal of each podcast is to encourage us all to have faith in Jesus Christ, God's Son, and to follow Him daily.

I encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ. Look unto Him alone for life and salvation. He took the punishment for all our sins and only He can make us acceptable before God. Then follow Him. His words will change your life.

Protect your heart

Matthew 7:15-20 NKJV
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. [16] You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? [17] Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. [18] A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. [19] Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. [20] Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Difficult times ahead

2 Timothy 3:1-5 CSB
But know this: Hard times will come in the last days. [2] For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, demeaning, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, [3] unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, without love for what is good, [4] traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, [5] holding to the form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid these people.

Cry out to Jesus!

Mark 10:46-52 NKJV
Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. [47] And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" [48] Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!" [49] So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, "Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you." [50] And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. [51] So Jesus answered and said to him, "What do you want Me to do for you?" The blind man said to Him, "Rabboni, that I may receive my sight." [52] Then Jesus said to him, "Go your way; your faith has made you well." And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.
